A family story with a vision
Barsa d.o.o. was born from the idea that Bosnia and Herzegovina deserves more than being just a supplier of raw materials. Visionary and founder Samir Bukalo saw an opportunity to transform Bosnia’s most valuable natural resource – the Bosnian maple – into a product of quality and origin. Today, Barsa is the first company in BiH to handcraft high-end bridges, standing alongside world-renowned brands in this highly specialized industry.

passion for the craft
Our bridges are not industrial products – they are the result of manual work, expertise, and a sense for tone. Each piece of wood passes through the hands of experienced artisans who respect form, detail, and balance. Handcrafting is slower, but it brings what machines cannot – character, emotion, and musicality.

caring for nature
Unlike mass producers, Barsa is deeply connected to the forest from which its material comes. That’s why we’re committed to preserving and renewing natural resources: over 1,000 new maple trees are planted each year. We return to nature what it gives to music—because harmony should exist beyond the instrument.

Recognized worldwide
Barsa is now gaining recognition far beyond the region. Our bridges are used by luthiers, instrument makers, and musicians worldwide – proof that a clear and powerful sound can come from a small workshop with the right vision.
